Posting Landaus were designed to travel distances and were put to a team of horses driven by postilion riders.
Full description
This design by Hooper's and Co is for a Posting Landau. The carriage has a folding leather head, a rumble seat at the back for two members of the household staff and is sprung on elliptic springs.
